31 January 2013 - Goals for February

I love to set goals. And I love to write lists. Which often leaves me with ridiculous looking pieces of paper or diary pages covered in bullet pointed writing (and often underlines and exclamation marks so I remember what required extra emphasis.) So in a fusion of these two loves I've decided to set some ambitious goals for the month of February  A month my OCD nature loves because of it's perfect four weeks. I'll use this blog to hold myself accountable to the following:

1. Live within the budget. Meet our minimum savings goal each week.

2. Make a habit of running. 6 times a week. 1 of which is a long run with a distance goal. By the end of February This distance will be 17.5km.

3. Introduce 3 weights training sessions into my fitness regime each week.

4. Before grocery shopping for the week plan that week's meals with a focus on their nutritional value.

5. Spend at least one night camping in a National Park with my husband.

These are not unrealistic goals. And recording them helps to keep me focused. Four weeks from now I look forward to writing an entry with an evaluation of how I went. And with some new goals for the month of March.
