28 February 2013 - A new style

Well we're already at the end of the four weeks of February.

It went fast. 

Uni has started for the semester and I am finding myself increasingly busy and struggling to manage this blog in between lectures, work, running and housekeeping. 

So.... in the interest of making things a little more manageable (and having less decisions to make!) from now on the daily entries in this blog will loosely follow this structure: 

Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday's will be longer blog posts and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays will be shorter posts or just links to videos, images, articles or recipes that I've been enjoying lately. Saturdays I will take a break from posting at all. 

As for the February goals? I did not ace them. 

As part of the Jump Start Academic Preparation Program I attended during orientation week a speaker talked about the importance of goal setting and the keys to constructive goal setting. My biggest downfall? I can't seem to keep them realistic. I overcommit. I'm setting myself up for failure. 

So this month? I'm going to set a very simple goal for myself; and that's to take each day as it comes and make the very best of it. 

Next month I'll come back to worrying about building the muscle required to complete 10 push ups.
